Embracing Diversity is a guide to diversity management for organisations active in intercultural youth work. This guide was written by Rahel Aschwanden, in collaboration with SALTO-YOUTH's (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities for Youth — SALTO is a network of seven Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field, within the Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps programmes) Inclusion & Diversity resource centre, based in Belgium-Flanders.
The publication aims at equipping organisations involved in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programmes and in other youth work activities with the necessary competences to embrace human differences and make their programmes and organisations more inclusive.
"Embracing Diversity" é um guia voltado para organizações ativas em trabalho intercultural da juventude interessadas em lidar com a diversidade. Este guia foi escrito por Rahel Aschwanden, em colaboração com o centro de recursos de Inclusão e Diversidade da SALTO-YOUTH. Esta publicação busca equipar organizações envolvidas no Erasmus+ e European Solidarity Corps Programmes e em outras atividades de trabalho e intercâmbio de juventude com as competências necessárias para aceitar as diferenças humanas e fazer seus programas e organizações mais inclusivos.
Besides the diagramming itself of the hole guide, I was responsible for the visual identity and all the illustrations. The illustrations had to be diverse and show people of different countries, religions, ages, genders, sexual orientations etc. To show how those differences between people often overlap, and also to show that, now matter how diverse, we can always combine and change, the illustrations were divide and scrambled.
Além da diagramação em si doo guia completo, eu também fui responsável pela identidade visual e ilustrações. As ilustrações tinham de ser diversas, mostrando pessoas de diferentes países, religiões, idades, gêneros, orientações sexuais etc. A fim de mostrar como estas diferentes entra frequentemente se sobrepõe, e também para dizer que, não importa o quão diversos e distintos sejamos, podemos sempre nos combinar e mudar de muitas formas, as ilustrações foram "divididas" e mescladas.
